Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is a nonprofit ministry dedicated to building simple, decent houses with community volunteers in partnership with qualified families who are currently living in inadequate housing.
Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Habitat is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities, Habitat builds strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter and helps families have a decent place to call home.
