February 2026 Business of the Month

The Dunnellon Chamber & Business Association is proud to recognize Tara Ballantyne — better known near and far as “Tupperware Tara” — as our DCBA Business Partner of the Month for February 2026!

If you’ve spent any time in our community, chances are you’ve met Tara. Her energy is contagious, her smile is constant, and her passion for both her business and her community is undeniable.

Tara began her Tupperware journey in 1995. After relocating to Florida in 2004, she stepped away from the business while working as an X-ray tech, but in 2016 she rejoined the ranks of independent consultants. By 2017, Tupperware became her full-time focus — and she hasn’t looked back since.

While she still loves traditional in-home parties, Tara has adapted with the times. Many gatherings now take place online, but her wildly popular Themed Tupperware Bingo Parties have become the talk of the town. Hosted several times each month at various locations and times, these events combine fun, prizes, and plenty of laughs.

• March 2 at 6:30 PM at Holiday Builders in Citrus Springs and this one is 80s themed, so break out the neon, leg warmers, and big hair!

So what does Tupperware look like in 2026? It’s evolved far beyond classic food storage. Today’s lineup includes innovative kitchen tools designed to save time and reduce frustration, storage solutions beyond food, products for kids, stylish tumblers, and even some beloved vintage favorites still available.

Beyond her business, Tara is an incredible volunteer and ambassador for our community. She is a great supporter of the Chamber and its members, often volunteering her time and supporting events. She actively participates in multiple local groups and organizations and is a passionate advocate for small businesses throughout the region. Tara doesn’t just build her own business — she champions others and shows up consistently to support the success of our entire community.
